We are facing an issue in send notification activity. Below is the description
1. We have a custom list in SharePoint(MOSS 2007)
2. List have 5 columns as Title(Single line of text), Description(Multiple lines of text – Plain Text), Summary(Multiple lines of text – Plain Text), Notes(Multiple lines of text – Plain Text) and NotifyUsers(Person or group – Multiple selection)
3. Values that are stored in this list are HTML encoded like space is converted in to %20
4. Nintex Workflow is set up on this list which is getting triggered on “Item Created” event
5. In Nintex workflow, we decode all the fields before sending notification to the users
6. Send Notification activity is used to send notification to the users
7. Send Notification activity is configured as
a. In “To” section, enable “Send Individual Notification” checkbox. This field will take values from SharePoint list columns(NotifyUsers, Created By) and SharePoint Groups
b. Format of email body is set to “Rich Text”
Problem Statement : Now when user enters item to SharePoint list with special characters, Nintex workflow send email to all the users who all are under “To” but intermittently fails for some of the user as they are not able to receive proper email body.
Below is the string which fails intermittently in email body of the users.
