Conditions to check date in list if less the current date

Hi,

 I have set up a Estimated Date column in a sharepoint list. I use Nintex form to add dosumnts to the list. Need to set up workflow wich will check the Estimated Date with Current date, and to set up rule for that column.

Can you please advice on this.
