Customise Task Form on Reusable state machine workflow

I am trying to figure out how to customise the to do task form generated by Nintex Reusable state machine workflow. The workflow is triggered to start when a specific content type instance is generated. In particular a workflow content type dropdown appears on the Task form containing the machine states, appears on the task form which we'd like to hide this as it confuses our users. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
