Hiding a tricky field

I need to hide a date field based on a drop down menu. The problem that I am having is that I can get it to hide for either one field, or all. I only need the date field to hide for 2 of the fields. The field is in a drop down menu, so only one can be selected at a time. I have the options of "in Progress", "lost", and "won". 

The date field needs to be hidden if either in progress or lost are selected. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
