I am in the process of building a document management process including transmittals within our sharepoint site, utilising Nintex Workflow.
I am not new to Nintex, but not very advanced either. I took inspiration from the webinar presented by PointBeyond and Nintex for an engineering company in the UK.
I have hit an issue with creating a list of the published documents.
My Document library containing Published documents has Major version control turned on.
The idea is that a list will be created when the document is published, containing a link using the 'Link to Document' Content Type
My main question is how to ensure that the document linked will remain constant to the specific version? Also, the document library utilises a folder structure (in order to keep data lists to below 5000 documents, and also to follow process we are implementing) I was using the Item URL to put into the URL field of the 'Link To Document', however this can exceed 255 characters. Is there a better way to get the correct document (using avariety of build string or regular expressions?)
