get data in a form

Hi,

I have a question about getting data in a form. 
An easy example:

An employee should be able to type in his working-hours for an existing project in a form over Nintex Live or Nintex Mobile. The existing projects should be displayed in the form in a drop down list. The projects come from a database in Dynamics NAV 2013. How can I include this projects in the form? Do I have to use JavaScript or are there other possibilities?
